Program Description

Instruction in:

- Methodology of teaching
- Lesson plan writing and presentation
- Student critique techniques
- Knowledge of TDLR forms and rules
- Theory related to all subjects

Discussions about staff job descriptions, school management philosophies, and operations procedures are presented throughout training.

Program Objective

To expand the knowledge of the teacher candidate and prepare them for the school job market by instilling professional work habits in respect to time management, lesson presentation, grading methods, and organizational and leadership skills.

Presentation methods, student relation skills, and likelihood of hire at our school are evaluated.

Encouragement of self reliance, initiative, professional ethics, and teamwork create a well rounded and productive personality sought after in the teaching arena.

Class Schedules
* Saturday attendance is mandatory for all schedules
* We do not offer evening classes at this time

Fast Track - Approx. 5 months

Tuesday - Friday     8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday                     8:30 a.m. - 4:00 P.M

Full Time - Approx. 6 months

Tuesday - Friday    8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Saturday                    8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
